There are so many. My favorites go back to the 70's with Eldon Wynn. Back then there was no power. We used to have a generator to pump the water and everything else was propane. That's what camping was to me. Just enjoying the sceneries and walking in to camp with Curtis MacDonald

What is camping for you?
Camping for me is being in beautiful places with people. I love living without the distractions of the every day. It’s about waking with the sun and sleeping under the stars. It’s about cooking over a fire. It’s about keeping it really simple.
What are your favorite camp activities?
I love all kinds of activities at camp. But if I had to pick my top three… It would be whitewater canoeing, singing around a campfire, and Camp craft.
Why did you join Camp Council?
I wanted to join Camp Council because I really value Sherbrooke Lake Camp in the lives of my boys. We recently moved here from Australia, and the boys had never experienced a summer camp! I, however, grew up, going to camp my whole life as a kid in Ottawa! So it was great to be able to expose them to this camp. They absolutely love it and I wanted to be part of the family and community to make sure it keeps happening with the incredible values and traditions that make Sherbrooke Camp a magical place for all the kids who go there!
