CAPITAL KITCHEN CAMPAIGN

Feeding Tradition, Building the Future 🍽️

Help Us Build the Heart of Camp ❤️

Sherbrooke Lake Camp is launching an exciting capital campaign to build a new kitchen addition and complete essential renovations to our dining hall — the Arthur Harvie Lodge.
For more than 60 years, our dining hall has been the heart of camp life. It is where campers gather, friendships grow, and memories are made around shared meals.
With your support, we can create a modern, safe, and efficient kitchen that will serve generations of campers to come.

🏕️ Why This Kitchen Matters
Each summer, Sherbrooke Lake Camp nourishes a vibrant community of:
• 500+ campers, staff, CITs, and volunteers
• A 7-week summer program
• 5 months of spring and fall rentals
A new kitchen will allow us to:
• Safely prepare thousands of meals
• Improve food preparation and storage
• Support our growing camp community
• Expand our ability to host retreat groups and rentals
• Continue providing welcoming, home-cooked meals that campers love
Meals are more than just food at camp — they are where stories are shared, songs are sung, and community is built.

Sherbrooke Lake Camp is a camping ministry of the United Church of Canada. Sherbrooke Lake Camp is situated on Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq people. We seek to live by the principles of Peace and Friendship with our Indigenous siblings, the land, and all of our relations.

Sherbrooke Lake Camp is part of the United Church of Canada in Bermuda-Nova Scotia Regional Council (Formerly Region15)
