This Friday - Sunday event will offer some of your Sherbrooke Lake Camp favorites, from campfires to candle lighting! We're also excited to share live music on Saturday with the chance to dance late into the evening! This is a family friendly event with on-site accommodations and classic camp meals!

ABOUT THE WEEKEND

Who: Everyone is welcome to join us for the 60th Anniversary Homecoming Event! Our site is rustic and due to roots and our natural environment may not be fully physically accessible for all at this time. Participants under 5 years old must be registered with your group and are included in the max 8 capacity of our cabins due to our Fire Safety Plan, however they do not require additional day passes or additional meal fees. If you have any questions, please connect with us.

Location: Sherbrooke Lake Camp, 420 Church Camp Road, Franey Corner, Nova Scotia, B0J 2M0

Camp is located 1h 15m from Halifax, ~50m from Bridgewater and ~1h from Kentville. Travel to and from Sherbrooke is not provided for this event.

Cabins: Our cabins are rustic stand-alone structures, with a front room with 4 bunk beds, (8 beds with mattresses), and a back cabin that is not available for use, but open as an emergency exit. There is a changing room between the two sections. The cabins do not have power or running water. There is a latrine for bathroom use proximate to each cabin that is cleaned / re-stocked twice per day. There is one shower on site for staff and emergency use only, as well as laundry facilities for emergency use only.

Tent /Trailer Sites: Our tent and trailer sites will be indicated clearly during our event.  There is a latrine for bathroom use proximate to each tent area that is cleaned / re-stocked twice per day. Trailers are to be a maximum of 21 feet in length.

Water: Drinking water is tested per provincial required guidelines and safe to drink. Water is available throughout the event to all participants. Our lake water is also tested according to guidelines!

Parking: One (1) parking spot is permitted per cabin, trailer/tent site or group. For both our environmental stewardship and our impact on camp, we encourage carpooling as much as possible. Local carpool lots are available near both Highways 101 and 103. If additional options arise, we will notify participants.

Technology: There is no access to wifi and only select areas with cell service.

Dietary: We can accommodate vegetarian and dairy free dietary needs. Gluten free options are available most meals, however we are not a Celiac friendly guaranteed space due to our staff and kitchen limitations.
