CAMP CHECKLIST

Are you starting to prepare for camp? You have come to the right page!

Here is the important info to review before coming to camp:

Drop Off & Registration

Drop off will look very different this year due to COVID-19. This year we will be providing specific times for campers to arrive between 6pm and 7pm on Sunday (except for Tadpole which is Tuesday). We will be sending an email a week prior to your camper's sessions providing the time and which registration station you will be going to.  On the day of registration you will be directed to a parking spot and then you and your camper will head to the registration station outlined in your email. Due to the Nova Scotia Guidelines, we ask that only one adult comes during drop off (we understand if you are unable to make other child care arrangements and require to bring your children).

Pick up

Pick up will be at 10:00am on Friday.  We ask that you do not mingle or explore our grounds at this time.  Please stand next to your vehicle and our staff will assist campers with their luggage.

Medications

Bring all medications to registration in a bag clearly marked with the name of the camper and instructions for the Camp Nurse/First Aider.

Code of Conduct

This year, to make the registration process as seamless as possible. Please download the code of conduct, sign it, take a picture and upload it to your camper's account. You can do this by clicking the following link: https://sherbrookelakecamp.campbrainregistration.com.

Camp Merchandise

Please visit our Camp Merch page to buy clothing for your camper. Instructions detailing the shopping process can be found on the Camp Merch page. Please note The cut off for our first order will be June 25th at noon. Those wishing to have camp clothing for 1st Senior and 1st Intermediate MUST order by this deadline. The cut off for the second order will be July 5th at noon. This will guarantee campers receive clothing for all other sessions.

Home delivery is an option please see the Camp Merch page for more info.

Cabin Requests/Assignment

Reminder that cabin mate selection is left at the discretion of the Summer Camp Director. Every effort will be made to accommodate requests. Large groups of friends (4 or more) may be divided into smaller groups to ensure a positive cabin atmosphere for all campers.

New for summer 2021, we are so excited to be offering campers a Gender Inclusive Cabin. This is to ensure that ALL campers feel included and welcome at Sherbrooke Lake Camp. We encourage guardians to have the discussion with their camper around which cabin best fits their needs and comfort level. You can choose to opt into up to 2 cabin options. Please click here to sign in and fill the form for or with your camper.

Camper Mail

Campers LOVE to receive mail and we LOVE to see campers faces when they receive mail. We encourage guardians to plan mail ahead and bring it with them when they come, however, we understand that it is not always possible. We will have a mail station for parents to write last minute mail and put it in a mailbox. You can send mail to your camper through the post office, however, we are only able to check it once during the week so ensure you send it early and include the week your camper is registered for.
