PACKING LIST & DROP OFF/PICK UP

Are you starting to prepare for camp? You have come to the right page!

Here is the important info to review before coming to camp:

Drop Off & Registration - Summer 2022

Drop off this year is going back to a new version of normal! In line with the CANSPEI 2022 Return To Camp Recommendations we have a few things to protect campers, staff, volunteers and families!

  • Rapid Testing is encouraged the morning prior to coming to camp!

  • Symptoms and screening tools are recommended to use prior to attending camp! Click here to perform a self-assessment with your camper!

  • During periods of high contact, such as drop off and pick up, staff will mask and we encourage parents/guardians to mask as well. Additionally, we are asking families/guardians that they limit the drop off/pick up to one (1) adult! We know it's not always possible, but we appreciate folks abiding by it when it is.

    • For Senior and Intermediate campers, parents/guardians are NOT permitted into the cabin during drop off/pick up.

    • For Junior campers, one (1) parent/guardian is permitted to support them with drop off and bunk set up.

We are so excited to announce that camp is going back to normal times!

Drop off for campers will be on Sunday's between 2pm - 3pm and pick up is on Friday's at 12noon.

For 2nd Junior/Tadpole Camp: Drop off is Tuesday between 2pm - 3pm and pick up is on Friday at 12noon!

For more about COVID at camp, check our our 2022 COVID-19 Operation Policies

Cabin Requests/Assignment

Cabin mate request can be made on CampBrain through your camper's Camper Information document. Reminder that cabin mate selection is left at the discretion of the Summer Camp Director. Every effort will be made to accommodate requests. Large groups of friends (4 or more) may be divided into smaller groups to ensure a positive cabin atmosphere for all campers.

Continuing in Summer 2022, we will be offering campers a Gender Inclusive Cabin. This is to ensure that ALL campers feel included and welcome at Sherbrooke Lake Camp. We encourage guardians to have the discussion with their camper around which cabin best fits their needs and comfort level.

Camper Mail

Campers LOVE to receive mail and we LOVE to see campers faces when they receive mail. We encourage guardians to plan mail ahead and bring it with them when they come, however, we understand that it is not always possible. We will have a mail station for parents to write last minute mail and put it in a mailbox. You can send mail to your camper through the post office, however, we are only able to check it once during the week so ensure you send it early and include the week your camper is registered for.
