We welcome you all to the virtual Sherbrooke Lake Camp. This summer is our 46th Anniversary of serving children and youth of Nova Scotia. Staff and campers have come and gone but they hold a special spot in their heart for Sherbrooke Lake.

Our mission is "With Christianity as our foundation, we extend love to all God's children through a camping experience in a special setting". Here at Sherbrooke we accept all God's children as individuals. Camp is a very special environment that helps all children grow as people.     

Sherbrooke Lake is one of the first camps that was recognized by the Camping Association of Nova Scotia as an officially accredited camp. We have been accredited based on thousands of standards in six different categories: Administration, Personnel, Health, Site, Facilities and Equipment, Programming and Accessibility.

They grow by participating in swimming, crafts, river/nature walks, campfire, Discovery Time, Vespers and our popular cross lighting ceremony.  

Sherbrooke Lake’s camp site includes:

  • A 1000ft natural sandy beach on the 9 mile Sherbrooke Lake with Chapel Island and Campfire Point on opposite ends.
  • Cabins to hold 8 campers &
    their counsellor(s).
  • Large dining lodge where our home cooked
    meals are served.
  • Large recreation centre for crafts and
    indoor activities.
  • Senior staff accommodations.
  • Many acres of wooded area and trails to enjoy.
