counselor in training
The CIT program at Sherbrooke Lake Camp offers the opportunity to develop skills and abilities of a camp counselor, while focusing on the needs of children. The program is limited to 15 youth. Selected applicants will be invited for a phone interview and references will be checked. Applications are due April 23rd, 2010. Please send them by email.
We are NOW accepting applications for CITs for summer 2010. If you have any questions or concerns please contact our Assistant Director, John McKoy at cit@sherbrookelakecamp.org
Please include the following:
- A resume and application form
- Copies of any relevant certificates (canoe, lifeguard, first aid/CPR)
- A cover letter that outlines who you are and what you will bring to the position and answers to the following two questions:
a. In your perspective, what are the important qualities of a
Camp Counselor?
b. Why would you make a good Counselor in Training?
